Title: Inclusion, how Sandvik Coromant have motivated people and the importance of having focus on humans in a high tech company
In her presentation, Eva-Lena describes their way of working to bring the overall strategy closer to the employees by combining ISO standard, Hoshin Kanri and Management training. She will present their model made by herself and the colleague Sofia Granskog, B.Sc.
Eva-Lena will also talk about inclusion, how they have motivated people and the importance of having focus on humans in a high tech company.
Eva-Lena Sahlström has over 30 years of experience from Swedish industry with various positions in companies such as Pharmacia, Thermo Fisher and Sandvik AB. Today, Eva-Lena is manager for quality and continuous improvement in Gimo Sweden, and also responsible to set up the global quality portfolio for Sweden, Poland, USA, India and Japan.
She started as an operator and quality engineer. She moved on to different positions as manager in manufacturing, quality control and production. To learn more about implementation and facts she was a change leader for 2 years, experiences she use every day in her work.
Eva-Lena has a background in Biochemistry and has over the years supplemented with several educations e.g. lean, quality, safety. According to Eva-Lena, good education has been “hands on” with high competent colleagues and consultants.
