Businesses and other organizations across the globe are changing the way they do business, as they address new customer requirement and different factors that are affecting their ability to remain sustainability profitable is a more competitive, and fast-paced environment.
This presentation summarizes those key factors and discusses how the quality assurance and quality management fields are responding in order to ensure innovation and continuous improvement become the strategic priorities used by their organizations to achieve future success. This evolution of quality methods leads to the need for change in education, training, and preparation of quality professions. Data from several research studies conducted by ASQ and IAQ are referenced in this presentation and help form the basis for the call to action.
Elizabeth Keim is a global management consultant, specializing in solving managerial and technical problems in business applications, primarily in nonmanufacturing and services sector. Elizabeth “Liz” Keim is currently Managing Partner at Integrated Quality Resources in Colorado, USA, where she works with clients worldwide on business-results improvement through the integration of diverse methodologies related to business excellence and quality related sciences.
Keim is the current Chair and former President of the International Academy for Quality (IAQ). She is a former President and former Chair of the Board of the American Society for Quality (ASQ). Keim is an ASQ Certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt and Quality Manager. She is also an Elected Fellow of ASQ.
Keim is the author of numerous articles and is a frequent speaker on business excellence through quality at national and international conferences.
